GARMENT REWORK &
LOOK CREATION

For this project, I re-designed a vintage 1980's wedding dress into a 1920's daytime frock, fit for a village flower show fit for the likes of Dowton Abbey. I began by researching the era, sourcing a base garment to work from, identifying key details that were and were not period appropriate, fitting the garment on the actress, executing repair work and removal of old stains, re-design and alteration of the final garment, and styling of the final look using both modern and vintage pieces.
